about

This is a special preview of Cardboard Academy's "Metal & Fire: Songs Low Taught Us."

Cardboard Academy is a shifting ensemble that interpreted several Low compositions between 2009-2010, under the production and engineering auspices of Bryan Kay at Shoeshine Studio in East Lansing, Michigan. "Metal & Fire" was beautifully and expertly mastered by Carl Saff.

We would like to thank Low for being such a musical and aesthetic inspiration for us and for motivating us to record these versions of their songs.

Look for "Metal & Fire" in a special, limited edition 10-inch vinyl pressing in 2012, and thanks for listening. Please share this link with other Low fans.

...and if you are enjoying this, you can also check out our miniature, exclusive 3-song Low tribute that came out last May, here: music.itavrecords.com/album/3-way-singles-club-volume-one
